Hi all, Just to let you know we have places left on The BWFA wood flooring apprenticeship starting at the end of November, this is a great opportunity for anyone looking to learn a skill or expand their knowledge and become qualified. The apprenticeship is run by Sid Bourne the UK's leading wood flooring specialist, apprentices will receive training in everything from sub-floor preparation to bespoke design work. The apprenticeship is fully funded with extra grants available. For anymore information please give me a call on either: 01564 703900 or 07725973439 Thanks Daniel
can i just add, i have had a few people asking me tonight about this apprenticeship and there worried about there English and maths skills. If you are capable of asking me you are capable of completing the course. Don't let English and maths skills put you of. We are floor layers, this is not a English and maths course. The instructors jobs are to show you how to install wooden floors, they will help you through the very minimal writing you have to do.Please dont be put off thinking you have to be good at English and maths.
NO, any age is welcome. We actually struggle to find young apprentices. Most are older generation learning new skills. Personally i think its named wrong or maybe its us brits thinking the word 'apprenticeship' means Young when actually its normally the opposite.
Best to give Daniel a phone. I dont know anything about the funding for this, thats Daniels job. However funding can differ for each person so best to talk to him direct rather than try and discuss over the forum .
