Hi. I have recently my bought first home and am in process of redecorating. Hoping to lay carpet on stairs, landing and bedroom. Never knew selecting a carpet would be such a minefield! On the advice of one retailer I am leaning towards Polypropylene - Lano Heathertwist Elite 50oz. on stairs & landing (as it seems harder wearing) and High Point 75 oz. in bedroom (as it seems a bit more plush). Another retailer is recmommending Polyester carpet- Abingdon (Deep Feelings or Lasting Romance). Would anyone have any experience with any of these particular make of carpet or OPlyester v Polypropylene debate? Any thoughts or recommendations greatly appreciated. Thanks...
Heather twist elite is excellent value for money and will wear well on stairs, Personally not keen on supply and fitting any of the deep soft pile stuff as there all flatten and Matt down quickly. If you do go down thicker deep pile invictus Pegasus I’d recommend.
I think you should go with polypropylene as they are extremely stain resistant, suiting it ideal for families where there are chances of accidents having young children also it lasts for long time.
