I know it's not something most of you would do, but thought I would share with you,
Small chemical testing area uses very strong products that had damaged the old resin floor, did a small sample the other week and it resisted most of them , so got the order this week ,
Had one of the boys remove all the loose with 40 and 60 grit in the morning, I turned up at 2.30 and put on primer, two coats of grey and clear top coat all coats are cured instantly by the light, it's like magic!
Finished and cleared up by 6.30 pm
Normally each coat would take a day! So great time saving for the client, it's real weird stuff no smell, no VOC and only goes hard when you go over it with the light.

How did you get into that, is it a client specified thing?

    Hi Dean
No it's something I am building and getting specified, at the moment just with my existing clients, we got the machine for the wood flooring clients really, the water based uvcuring is easier to use and we are getting a few jobs in restoring Lino and putting the hard coating on.So that will just develop.
This new stuff is like epoxy resin and that is something that we have never done, this was our first job but I can really see the potential, I will add different ideas to it and try to incorporate designs into it, already doing samples of latex with clear coatings ,it's new so just playing with all aspects of it at the moment,
Trying to do this along side running the normal business is a little difficult, keeping 10 guys working each day can be a challenge , lol,
especially when they are on the cards and get paid if I don't have any work.
I don't believe you get given anything in this life unless you work for it, over the years we have always tried different avenues to earn revenue, some work, some don't , but I love trying and learning new products ,

This stuff is extremely hard, the water based that I laid at a school isn't as hard but it hasn't marked after having hundreds of kids running over it,
Basically the water based product are the same as the PUR coating that most companies put on their flooring products at the factory and this stuff which is 100% solids is a resin that normally has to have a hardener added, the hardeners are normally very toxic, the uv light acts as the curing agent

It's early days and I am learning as I go.
