got a carpetright job on monday where the customer wants a hessien backed carpet bonded direct to subfloor without underlay
the subfloor is wooden but has underfloor heating
have advised customer to switch off the heating today and gradually increase the heat after 24/48hours

basically the question am after is can i use F3 or do i need a specific adhesive as normally only durafitted before with tackifier first but never on UFH

    Many thanks in advance

Its not meant to exceed 2.5 with carpet and underlay I believe. I recently used roma with Brockway over ufh.

The lower the tog the better, if the carpet has a high tog rating, it will limit the amount of heat to that comes through.
