Hi all, im Duncan and i work for Mflor. Been to see Matt at FloorSkills and he is testing some products for us.
Hi Duncan I have done a mfor concrete LVT, looked great. Got 2 mfor wood plank jobs coming up. Welcome to the forum.
Hi Duncan, Ye great product from what i have seen so far. I hope the rest of the tests etc go as well as what i have tested so far, looks to be a great few products. i will post up some pics of the abuse im giving the products for others to see !
Hi Duncan, I'm a big fan of the mflor products much better than most. Fitting a lot of the Rimini tile at the mo.
Hi Duncan . Welcome. Mflor great product. lovely to fit. just one tiny problem!! dare i say it! the feature strips
yep, agreed. Dont worry tho, i have reported to Mflor and they are now on the case of improving. Anyway, feature strips are so 90's! Feedback on how to improve the product is welcome.
Yes they do mate. Im VERY impressed with it. I can tell you now its miles better compared to other's i have seen . For a start it has a fibreglass core to control the way the product moves around with temp change. Again a product im testing at the moment but its ticking all the correct boxes We will have a Mflor open day soon that will be FREE of charge. You can test it for yourself against other products if you attend the open day.
sounds good matt, looks like from a few videos ive seen of it that you obvs leave an expansion gap, and they have matching skirting to cover that but what if customers dont like it, do they do a matching beading? maybe if you dont know if they do or not matt, duncan could answer
The Mflor click LVT is different to others. It has a fibreglass core which makes it stable unlike other click LVT's. Due to this they are saying a 3mm expanstion is all that is needed so you can cover with a silicon seal rather than a beading. Im yet to test the product on how much it moves around tho.
