Whats the best saw for cutting borders in wood block. Are the festools saws much better than any others?

miles better than any other saw in my eyes.

But its not just the fact that the saws are good. Its more the point that all teh other festool tools, boxs, hoovers etc all work together.

Would you lot like a demo day at festool ? get to have a go with the tools and see what they can do?

That would be nice, but I would be crying all the way home cos I cant afford it all! Think I will go for thier plunge saw as Ive always wanted one.

It's an investment indeed, but will save you loads of time and hassle once you have one. Specially when cutting the pattern to add the border, no more fiddling about with measuring and cutting every block of the last row of pattern blocks.

festool definately best tools but i find makita are a decent cheaper substitute, dewalt are too heavy and cumbersome for accurate work

I prefer makita, just seems more solid and robust.
