Having looked at another flooring forum i feel sad that i have read that a floorlayer is looking for a reputable internet flooring tool sales shop,but hasnt any idea how to get in touch with them.The shop has replied on the site saying that details for advertising is not allowed.How can this be deemed as helping the flooring industry.A floorlayer is allowed to advertise his skills so why not a source in order to complement this!.Remember iam commenting on the input and not the site or sites whether it be any trades.It just feels a bit restrictive especially when we all log on in order to help people and look to learn things as well.I hope that i have made sense on this.
i can guess which flooring forum this is on! Guess it shows which forums look after there users and which forums only wants to rip off the 'true traders' asking daft money to advertise on there. dont get me wrong, we vet anyone who wants to 'trade' on here so you lot dont get ripped off by some boggus traders as links will be removed unless we know who you are, but like i say "its for your safety" .
This post i s one I was involved in. The person Easy is an Australian Fitter who we had a good laugh with on many occations, but does not know where we all are, he asked a question because I had stoped posting there, as the owner wanted me to pay him. That forum want to advertise and runs adverts that are aimed at the trade, but only on his terms. At the same time claimes to be a place free of salesman. Easy asked the question in January and I answered the following day but it seems the forum owner was asleep because he has only just answered and to be honnist I am not sure if it gives the impression that we are the sort of company that would rip off the trade, after 24 years in the trade I think we are a bit past the quick buck mark.
aNYONE THAT CAN DELIVER NEXT DAY has to be "tTOP NOTCH" just what tradesmen on these sites need.The hierarchy are forgetting about the input from these kind of people to keep up interest that is paramount for everyone.
And just for the record, i will NOT be using the other forum anymore, i shall concentrate 100% on this one!

As it happens logged in there for the first time in ages and a fitter had pm me for our web address got him to find me via google and have now give him all the details for this forum. He was unaware that his private mesages were being monitered 1994 all again!!!!
