So i'm between two carpets at the minute for my office, the isense Serenity carpet which is nylon and really soft or Victoria carpets, Ultimate Expressions which is polypropylene. The victoria carpets one feels denser and more durable and I've heard bad things about isense carpets going flat really quickly and just not being very good quality. I also had a look at some Westex nylon carpets but they were a bit too plush, which one should I go for ?
Out of the two you mention the Victoria will perform better in the long run. In theory nylon is meant to be harder wearing and more resistant to flattening but you’re right and I’ve not heard good things about the iSense ranges for looking good long term.
Hi, Choosing the right carpet for your office is important, and I’d be happy to help you decide. Isense Serenity (Nylon): Pros: Super soft and comfortable underfoot, which is great for creating a cozy office environment. Cons: Nylon carpets can sometimes flatten over time, which might affect their look and feel in the long run. Victoria Ultimate Expressions (Polypropylene): Pros: Denser and more durable, making it ideal for high-traffic areas like offices. It tends to maintain its appearance and resilience better over time. Cons: Might not be as soft as nylon, but it offers excellent durability which is a big plus for busy spaces. Westex Nylon: Pros: High-quality nylon with a plush feel. Cons: As you mentioned, it might be a bit too plush for your preferences, potentially sacrificing some durability for comfort. My Recommendation: Given your concerns about the Isense carpets potentially going flat and your preference for something durable, the Victoria Ultimate Expressions sounds like a solid choice for your office. Its density and durability are perfect for maintaining a professional look even in high-traffic areas. While it might not be as soft as the Isense, the longevity and resilience it offers are definitely worth considering for an office setting. If you’d like, I can help you arrange samples or discuss other options that balance comfort and durability perfectly. Let me know how you’d like to proceed! Best wishes, Steve Pro-Fit Floor Coverings
