Hi Guys After abit of advice been to look at a job and they are having polypipe overlay underfloor heating, do any of the manufacturers do a compound to go over the pipework (being a water system) and if so could what depth should we be looking at with lvt going down after . Thanks
Speak to polypipe but they usually have a recommended option, ensure the overlay panels are bonded down well before you fully prime and throw a smoothing compound over it
Hey! For polypipe overlay UFH, look at compounds like Ardex CL or Mapei Ultraplan. These can go over the pipework. Usually, you’d need around 10-15mm of cover before laying LVT. Always check the manufacturer’s specs to be sure. Good luck!
