Twist Carpet Thoughts

Hi All,

I have been browsing this excellent forum to help me get some carpet ideas together.

I have came up with a list of carpets for my bedroom and I am looking for some views on these to help me decide.

List is as follows;

• Axminster - Moorland Twist
• Brintons - Bell Twist
• Brockway - Dimensions Twist
• Cormar - Woodland Heather Twist
• Ulster - York Twist
• Victoria - Tudur Twist
• Westex - Ultima Twist

Any comments on the above would be very much appreciated.

Drop cormar from your list, make sure to have a decent underlay with it and any of the others will do the job without an issue just pick the colour you prefer

I would say brintons is the best. Cormar not in the same league as the others

I have a sample of the Brintons and while it looks good quality it is extremely thin and with it being for a bedroom I think it is just too thin

 

You put good underlay beneath it and it will last 30 years

I sell alot of that primo grande...

 

Cheers, what underlay would you recommend?

 

Plushwalk underlay is a great underlay, 10mm version is a good all-rounder

 

Treadaire ranges are really good. Chromium or ambience
