Just joined the forum, so I thought I should say hello. Time to have a read through and see what's what.
Hi. The Midlands, we mostly do domestic restorations and refurbs. Up until recently I've only been doing wood with occasional laminates, I sub out tiling and carpets. I'd like to do more of the vinyl tile (Karndean, Amtico) flooring though, which is what lead me to the forum.
Thanks for the greetings. Yeah, it looks like there are a few contentious issues. That said, it's similar to most work in that it's all about the prep and you can have a good job or a cheap job but not both.
