Hi I am coming to end of my lease of sprinter and in the market for another just wondering what everyone opinion is of Lease Versus Hire purchase versus buy new and buy second hand? Tax wise and value wise cheers in advance
Even through a 3rd party ? 2nd hand prices are mad at the moment. Ive had 4 years out of my Transporter, put over 90k miles on it, and its worth more now than I paid for it.
You can always ask for a price from them. Saves them from getting BCA to collect and putting it through an auction. They will have already calculated the residual value when you took out the lease.
I will double check with them again cause this would be ideal alternative at the minute but was wondering what others experience are with the different options
I think quite often your not allowed to buy it yourself. But someone else can. Might be someone you know....
i traded my sprinter in for a lwb MAN TGE, done 23k miles and all good so far. plenty of good options to pick and good discounts available. i got £15k or so of options on mine
Ordered a new man tge lwb at the start of September last year to replace our sprinter still waiting for it
Same with all manufacturers. Looks like you'll be waiting a bit longer, as vw have just closed their factory in wrzesnia where they build the t6, crafter and man tge due to supply issues because of the war in ukraine.
Was thinking of going for a new Custom but the one I want I'm told 12-14wks. One of my vans (vivaro) is worth twice its balloon so I'll be keeping that for a while then see next year what deals I can get on another custom
