Hi guys Really stuck Fitted LVT and coir matting in a commercial property.. The mat can not be recessed into the subfloor. The coir is 17mm thick and LVT is 2-3mm So need a trim/ramp/l section to put on and I'm getting different answers from everyone and not ideal.. As the trims recommended are either too big and trrip hazard or too small and there's no point in having one. Any suggestions? Spoken to gradus and they recommended RT247 but screwing this down onto coir just doesnt feel like it will work, not saying they are not good at there jobs aand quantum said only in pvc which ain't designed for this purpose apprantely. Thanks guys
ive stuck 2 pieces of 6mm dim strip together once with jantac tape and butted up to the coir its a bit cowboy but worked well for a temporary fix, still down
So they bought the material and expect you to wave yer wand and 'make it work'? Dim strip and ribbed matting and be done with it. Coir is just too thick, a trip hazard at best when up against Lvt
Ooohhhh some good answers guys thanks .. I said too the idiot don't get anything thick.. But they liked the pattern .. So now I'm dealing with two thick things.
Not ideal But what bout using a z bar? Glue it down, Flatten the spikes down, skim the edge and flatten it.
